Welcome. My name is Barbara Rosen. I have lived and worked and invested in real estate in Alexandria, VA for over 20 years. I know Alexandria, Old Town and Northern Virginia. This is my home.

I have renovated and lived in a 1790 townhouse in the heart of Old Town, and renovated and lived in high rise condos. I have a list of tradespeople and old house resources that’s one of the best in town.

I've purchased and sold my own homes, and I've been a successful real estate investor. I've listed and sold multi-million dollar properties, but also enjoy working with the first time buyer. Growing up as an Army brat, I’ve lived and traveled throughout the United States, Europe, South America, and the Middle East. I understand relocating and the needs of the government-employed family. 

My educational background is in psychology and the social sciences, with years spent in the public and private sectors in technology, marketing, product management and project management. After six years at America Online, where I "retired" as a Director, I continue to pursue my interest in technology to assist you in selling your home or finding a new one. I know how to coordinate and leverage both online and offline marketing strategies to SELL YOUR HOME! I am constantly innovating, allowing me to create custom strategies to market even the most demanding properties.

I'm also a skilled negotiator.
